The columns of this hotel had a triangular tile on them which was really interesting use of ceramic and texture as a surface.

At the tip of Phuket, there is a sunset viewing area and a shrine. This particular god loves elephants, and there are hundreds of them placed around the shrine.


We met an entire family (40 members) of Lao-Thai who came down here on holiday. It is, after all, the Chinese New Year week and they are getting and early start on it!
