This has to be the biggest pear I have ever seen in my life. A welcome gift in my hotel room in Seoul.

I was walking along the street when suddenly this parade showed up.

Broad boulevards, tall buildings, millions of people... oh, and a McDonalds, of course. That's Seoul.
You can see this construction worker is not taking the protective aspect of her hard hat very carefully. More jaunty and fashionable than your normal Teamster style.
Seoul is filled with stuff like this. What the Japanese didn't burn and the Korean's didn't cover with concrete is beautiful.

Here I am standing in front of something I don't understand, but which probably has to do with something bad the Japanese did to the Koreans, which seems to have been a fairly constant theme. This was before they did bad stuff to the Chinese and the US.
